Dhaniya Chutney/Coriander dip/Green chutney/Hari chutney

Dhaniya chutney/Hari chautney is famous topping for all  Indian chaat's/snacks. It may be pappdi chaat, aloo chaat, dahi puri..list is long... never complete with out this hari chutney. And the use of this chutney/dip goes with almost everything right from sandwich spread ,variety rice, paratha's, biryanyi's or any snack. It is a very essential dish in every one's kitchen.

It's a very simple and delicious chutney made of fresh coriander and tomatoes/tamarind with ginger,garlic (optional according to preference) and green chilli along with sugar/jaggery/brown sugar and salt. The taste of this chutney/dip is tangy,sweet,spicy too... I just love it!.

Freshly chopped Coriander leaves 2cup
Tomato 1 medium size(coarsely chopped)
Ginger 1inch ( peeled and chopped)
Green chilli 2 nos
Garlic 4 pods
Brown Sugar-5 tbsp
Rock salt 1 pinc
Chat Masala 1 pinch
Salt to taste

  • Take your grinder/blender/mixie jar put coriander leaves and give one pulse
  • Now add chopped tomatoes, ginger,garlic,green chilli and brown sugar
  • Grind into fine paste
  • Transfer it to bowl and salt, chat masala and rock salt
  • Dhaniya chutney is ready to serve with your gourmet.
